Late Shri B. V. Naik
A dedicated teacher and social worker
He began his teaching career at Janata Vidyalaya, Mirjan-Kodkani, when the school was established in our village of Mirjan. He served the institution with sincerity and commitment throughout his career, remaining there until his retirement.
Shri B. V. Naik was more than a teacher; he was a guiding force in the lives of many students. He took a personal interest in their education, well-being, and overall development. His care for students extended beyond the classroom, and many continued to remember him with affection and respect long after leaving school.
He was also actively involved in social and community activities. He served as the head of our village temple for three years and remained a temple member for many years thereafter. His contributions to the spiritual and social life of the village were deeply valued by the community.
His spirit of service and generosity was recognised by the Canara Welfare Trust, which honoured him for his generous contribution towards the electrification of the school.
The late Shri B. V. Naik will always be remembered as a dedicated teacher, a caring mentor, a generous donor, and a committed social worker. His life of service to education and the community remains an inspiration to us all.
