It gives me immense pleasure to express my appreciation for the remarkable service rendered by the Shrinivas Kulkarni Charitable Trust, Kumta, under the dedicated leadership of Dr. Milind Kulkarni.

What I particularly admire about Dr. Milind Kulkarni is his genuine interest in and deep respect for our art, culture and heritage. He has personally visited our Yakshangana premises at Gunavante, witnessed our Yakshagana performances and appreciated the Mandali’s sustained efforts in preserving and promoting this traditional art form. His wholehearted encouragement and support have been a source of great inspiration to us.

The Trust has also extended valuable support to numerous artists in various ways, recognising their contributions and helping sustain their livelihoods. Its commitment to supporting local communities, uplifting those in need and nurturing the art and culture of this region is truly commendable. I firmly believe that caring for our local communities and preserving our cultural heritage are among the most meaningful forms of service to the nation.

I wholeheartedly congratulate Dr. Milind Kulkarni and his entire team for their compassion, dedication and immense service to society.
